Holiday villa with two patios, a Mediterranean garden and gorgeous sea views

This oceanside holiday villa is located on Cyprus' north coast, about 25 kilometres from the harbour town of Kyrenia (Girne) and 3 kilometres east of Esentepe.

The two pergola terraces, which are shaded by Cypriote bamboo, offer gorgeous mountain and ocean views (lower level patio: 75m², upper level patio: 15m²). The villa also has a private pool with six sun loungers and indoor and outdoor lighting, allowing use of the pool at any time. A well maintained Mediterranean garden with carob trees, palm trees, China Roses and a variety of other plants, surrounds the villa. The garden also boasts a barbecue and garden chairs.

This gorgeous villa has amazing ocean views and views over the Pentadaktylos. It offers four bedrooms (three rooms have a double, the fourth one two single beds), two bathrooms (one per storey), a large kitchen and a large living room with a sofa bed, an LCD TV and two dining tables for 6 people each. All rooms have a small balcony and are equipped with remote controlled air conditioning units. The living room, which is also air conditioned, even offers a large granite fireplace.

The closest harbour is Kyrenia (Girne), about 25 kilometres from the house. The closest beach, as well as a Black-Horse Minimarkt can be found within 200 meters of the house. It is about 1500 meters to a larger supermarket. Golf can be played at the Korineum Country Club (about 10 kilometres). The central location of the villa enables you to visit many of the historic sites in the vicinity (harbour and old town of Kyrenia, Bergburg St. Hilarion, Barnabas monastery, Abbey Bellapais, Mountain fortress Kantara) or during a daytrip (Famagusta, Salamis, Golden Beach of the Karpaz peninsula). There are five border crossings, enabling you to cross into southern Cyprus (Greece).

The flexible arrival and departure dates are a definite advantage. The villa, the garden and the pool are taken care of by a lovely housekeeper, who is on call 24/7. Airport transfer can be arranged at a fee upon request. A car is recommended. Northern Cyprus, which has an average of 330 days of sunshine per year and its mild climate during the winter, is a perfect holiday destination year round. For flight connections, we recommend the north Cypriote airport of Ercan, which is most easily reached via a stopover in Istanbul (Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines). The distance from the airport to the house is about 35 kilometres. Larnaka, an airport in southern Cyprus is another option and can be reached by almost all of the big airlines. Larnaka airport is about 85 kilometres from the house.

    “Schickes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig. Das Haus liegt direkt an einer Hauptstraße, welche von ein paar Zimmern zu hören ist. Ansonsten ist es eine ruhige, dörfliche Lage. Man hat eine kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeit in 150 m Entfernung und ein Center in ca. 3 min mit dem Auto in der Umgebung. Zum Strand kommt man eher schlecht und die nächste Interessante Stadt (Girne) sind ca, 30 min mit dem Auto entfernt. In der Nähe sind außerdem reichlich Restaurants. Ein Auto bleibt trotzdem ein muss, wenn man was Sehen und erleben will.”
