Holiday on a farm, ideal for those who want to go hiking and mountain biking, sailing or windsurfing


The village of Piovere is an old and picturesque place belonging to the municipality of Tignale. It is located in very quiet area in the heart of the Alta Garda Bresciano nature park, just 4 km from the lake.

The "Il fondaco" house is located in the historic centre of Piovere. From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the lake. The house offers three comfortable holiday apartments: a penthouse apartment (90 sqm), the Fico apartment (75 sqm) and the Taverna apartment (50 sqm).

Parking spaces are just 50 metres away. We guarantee you a roofed storage area for your bikes, mountain bikes and surfboards. 100 meters away there is a swimming pool that can be used for free

Piovere is the ideal place for a holiday in contact with nature, where relaxation and sporting activities such as hiking and mountain biking, sailing and windsurfing alternate with each other. It is also the ideal place for children because there is no traffic. You can also bring along dogs and other pets. Just a ten minute walk along a footpath is the small Silvia farm with its large olive grove and a beautiful view of the lake. As a guest, you can visit the farm, and sample olive oil (and other typical products manufactured here). Furthermore, you will be in direct contact with nature and animals.

For excursion destinations nearby, we recommend to you: the Sanctuary of Monte Castello, the church of San Pietro, the visitor centre of the Alto Garda Bresciano nature park and the "Prato della Fame" orangery.

The farm can also accommodate sports groups (cyclists, walkers, surfers, sailors, etc.), as there are three separate accommodation units, with the possibility of housing up to 10-12 people in total.

Apartment Fico

The old rural house, expertly renovated keeping intact the peculiarities of the ancient peasant buildings, is located in the historic center of Piovere and is only a 7/8 minute walk from the farm, where it is possible to taste some typical products, in particular the extra virgin olive oil. Here there is also an area equipped for sunbathing and a barbecue area for preparing grilled meals.

Fico, apartment on the ground floor and with 2 entrances on 2 levels, consists of 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, living room with kitchenette, sofa bed and fireplace, sunny balcony with pergola and large fig tree, enclosed by the courtyard walls.

The accommodations can be connected to each other to accommodate groups of up to 12 people. Guests can visit the small cellar where salami and cheeses were once matured and where they can now purchase 0 km products, such as oil, vegetables and seasonal fruit. At the farm 10 minutes from the house, a barbecue area with an amazing lake view is available to guests.

Customers of the structure from 1 June to 10 September can access the swimming pool of the Al Poggio restaurant for free, reachable on foot in a few minutes.

    “prachtig appartement op een leuke locatie. Was nog veel mooier dan op de foto's! Erg schoon. Er is wel gezelligelevendigheid in de straatjes om het huis heen, dus als je van totale rust en stilte houdt, is dit misschien niet geschikt. Kinderen spelen op straat , kerkklokken luiden etc. Wij vonden het alleen maar gezellig. Barretje, restaurant en winkeltje met verse broodjes om de hoek, dus erg gemakkelijk allemaal.”

    “Wir haben die drei Tage voll ausgekostet und meinen es lohnt sich auch länger zu bleiben, da die Gegend viel zu bieten hat, auch ohne weit zu fahren. Positiv: Der Ort Piovere und die umliegenden anderen Ortsteile von Tignale sind, obwohl ganz unterschiedlich, wunderschön. Piovere begeistert mit seinen engen verwinkelten Gassen und Sträßchen. Die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Wanderer und Reisende, die nicht direkt im Trubel an der Küstenstraße wohnen wollen. Als Gäste von Silvia, die hervorragend deutsch spricht, darf man das örtliche Schwimmbad kostenfrei nutzen. Der örtliche Alimentari hat alles des täglichen Bedarfs und das für nicht überteuerte Preise. Die Ferienwohnung ist geräumig mit einer kleinen Terrasse. Negativ: Die Küchenausstattung könnte etwas üppiger und moderner sein, prinzipiell kommt man aber gut zurecht. Restaurant: Bar Silvana - Kleine Bar im Ortsteil Aer auf der Via Marsala mit Seeblickterrasse und Blick auf das Wildgehege. Kleines Essensangebot mit Panini, Piadini und Aufschnittplatten. Günstige Preise und supernettes Personal. Ausflüge: Rundwanderung zu den Wasserfällen - Rundwanderung zu den Wasserfällen zwischen den Ortsteilen Piovere und Aer. Dauer ca. 2-3 h. Teils steile An- und Abstiege, die mit Seilen gesichert sind. An heißen Tagen eine gute Möglichkeit sich abzukühlen. Gut besucht.”
