If you are here in mid-July, you can experience the festival in honor of the patron saint on July 16. You can also stroll through the alleyways of the white old town of Salobrena and visit small restaurants, cafés and stores that invite you to linger. You can also visit the fortress. In the hinterland you will find many villages that have retained their authentic Spanish charm, and on the way to these little gems you can sniff the many orange trees that line the streets of Granada.
