There are many attractions in the immediate vicinity, such as the Blindensee and Rohrhardsberg nature reserves with marked hiking trails. The world's largest cuckoo clock, Germany's highest waterfalls and the Rainertonishof natural monument are also just a few minutes' drive away. In winter, there is a kilometer-long network of cross-country ski trails on the Rohrhardsberg. There is also a ski lift and the possibility of downhill skiing.
