A large covered terrace and a beautiful lawn invite you to sunbathe, relax, read and dream. The Erbeskopf, at 816 meters the highest mountain in Rhineland-Palatinate and the entrance to the national park Hunsrück-Hochwald, is only 7 kilometers away. In winter, the Erbeskopf invites you to ski and toboggan fun on the slopes and cross-country trails, as well as fantastic hikes through the snow-covered Hunsrück landscape. In the snow-free season, high ropes courses, summer toboggan run, events in the Hunsrückhaus, as well as mountain bike trails of various degrees of difficulty and breathtaking hikes on the dream loops offer a wide range of leisure activities for families, sports enthusiasts and senior citizens. The town center of Thalfang with restaurants, shopping, doctor's surgeries, health facilities, tourist information, health spa with sauna area, town hall and House of Encounter is only a three minute walk away.
