Steep climbs, kilometers of paved roads through almost untouched nature, panoramic views over the entire Kvarner Bay, many picturesque towns on the coast or in the hinterland, traditional taverns and gostionas (rustic inns with delicious food and good wine) leave the race biker the heart beat faster. The many hiking trails can also be easily ridden on a mountain bike. The numerous, very well signposted routes (including GPS / GPX downloads) that can be called up on your smartphone by the Croatian Tourist Board (app. GPS / GPX) stretch across the entire hilly landscape in the region. This part of Istria is known for its Mediterranean climate, its subtropical vegetation and its unique, unspoiled nature. Sveta Marina is located at the foot of the Ucka massif. The seaside resort of Opatija, which was appreciated by Austrian emperors at an early age, is approx. 40 km to the east, approx. 40 km to the west is the coastal town of Pula with its famous amphitheater, in which first-class theater / music performances take place all year round. There is also an international airport here.

This small, former fishing village is far from the major tourist centers of the Istrian peninsula. Time seems to have stopped here.
