In the ancient, quiet and well-kept village of Sassalbo in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park (850 metres above sea level) in Lunigiana, a hilly and wooded region in the far north of Tuscany, famous for its well-preserved numerous castles and medieval fortresses, lies this spacious and welcoming semi-detached stone house with a large plot of land and magnificent views of the wooded hills and the village. This is the ideal destination for nature, trekking and skiing lovers, suitable for both the summer and winter seasons: the area offers many trekking and mountain bike routes. The Cerreto Laghi ski resort is 8 km away with shops of all kinds, 15 km supermarket and tennis court, 20 km riding centre, 31 km thermal baths, 35 km Fivizzano with public indoor swimming pool, 55 km Pontremoli with golf course. The section of the Ligurian coast of the Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (approx. 60 km) and its beaches are within easy reach. Some distances for your excursions: 55 km La Spezia, 58 km Lerici, 68 km Portovenere, 90 km Parma, 110 km Lucca, 120 km Portofino, 128 km Pisa, 135 km Genoa, 160 km Florence. The property includes 400 m2 of land on one side of the house, at the front a large (50 m2) paved area equipped for relaxation and outdoor dining, barbecue and heated lounge with infrared heaters, lawn area with above-ground swimming pool, a heated whirlpool for 4 people, outdoor shower, sun loungers and deckchairs. The outdoor area is equipped for outdoor activities such as table tennis, basketball and badminton as well as games for children such as a slide and swing. Possibility of swimming in a nearby river (1 km), fishing in a sports lake (5 km), walks in the surrounding area. Your four-legged friends are welcome. On request, the owner offers a shuttle service (by bus) to and from the airport, to the ski resort and for various excursions (to be paid on site). You can also benefit from an agreement with a nearby restaurant and grocery shop (200 m), also for packed lunches.

    “Das Haus lieg in einem ruhigen, malerischen und abgelegenen Bergdorf, ist sehr schön eingerichtet, Pool, Whirlpool und sehr schöner Aussenbereich. Genug Platz für eine große Familie oder Gruppe. Es ist allerdings schwer zu Fuß erreichbar, nur über einen unbefestigten steinigen Weg kann man das Gepäck zum Haus transportieren. Die Küche ist sehr groß, 2 Herde und Backöfen, allerdings keine Spülmaschine, auch Toaster, Wasserkocher oder Kaffeemaschine sind nicht vorhanden. Das Haus ist freundlich und liebevoll eingerichtet,Pool und Whirlpool werden regelmäßig vom Vermieter gereinigt. Leider spricht der Vermieter kein Deutsch und kein Englisch, so dass die Verständigung manchmal etwas schwierig ist, aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und bemüht, einem jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Die Terrasse und der gesamte Aussenbereich sind sehr gepflegt und liebevoll gestaltet.”
