A wonderful cabin in quiet surroundings in Storåsen. Enjoy the tranquility and the view here and everything Sjusjøen is known for: impressive mountains, fantastic hiking trails, species-rich fishing waters. For example, Kroksjøen is just a few minutes away from the cottage. Hikers go to Mosterfjell or Snørvillen. Families with strollers or small children like to walk around Sjusjøvannet. Directly from the house you can also start mountain biking in the mountains. The most famous route is probably the Birkebeinerloipa, where the Birkebeinerittet is held every year in August. Here the route leads to Rena, about 92 km! Of course there are also many shorter tours. For example down to Sjusjøen, over Nordseter down to Lillehammer, but beware: afterwards it goes uphill again! It is not for nothing that Sjusjøen is a popular destination throughout southern Norway all year round. Lillehammer can be reached in 30 minutes by car, here are more nice activities for children and adults. For example the Maihaugen open air museum or the Olympic museum. Toll road, applies all year round and every time you pass.
