This beautiful vacation home completely in stone has its own pool and is located in the middle of the countryside in one of the most popular corners of the Gard. It benefits from a very quiet location and from its terrace you have a great panorama. Look forward to several wonderful destinations in the area, such as the charming village of Anduze or the bamboo garden of Prafrance, which covers 12 hectares and was opened in 1856. There, go on a fantastic journey through recreated natural landscapes, such as those experienced in Laos, Japan and America. Special highlights include giant bamboo canes and impressive trees such as ginkgos and redwoods, in addition to exotic flowers. On site, you can also buy seeds to take home. At the bamboo garden, you can board the small Cevennes steam train that connects Anduze with Saint-Jean-du-Gard and treats you to beautiful views as it travels through the Gard Valley. You will pass through tunnels and cross viaducts, feeling what it was like to travel by train in the past. In the very nearby Grotte de Trabuc, the largest cave in the Cevennes, waterfalls, water holes and the emerald green lake Lac de Minuit await you on a 1,200 m long tour. Adventurous vacationers should definitely join an underground safari here: A 3- or 5-hour journey to the center of the earth that does not require technical knowledge or any particular athletic ability. The Gardon de Mialet river section attracts visitors with beautiful swimming spots. Stroll through the old streets of Vézénobres, one of the most beautiful villages in France. You have gasoline in your blood? Then you will have your fun in the racing center of the beautiful and very lively town of Alès. The center includes a whole 10 tracks for racing cars, motorcycles and go-karts. Rent a canoe or kayak in the charming village of Collias and head for the majestic Roman aqueduct Pont du Gard.
